Partners
The Technology Alliance partners with a number of organizations to advance Washington’s long-term competitiveness in the 21st century global economy.
The College & Work Ready Agenda is a cooperative effort to build awareness and support for providing Washington students with the education and skills they need to succeed in today’s competitive world. This effort began in the fall of 2006, when a group of business and community associations wrote a joint letter to elected officials expressing support for four key education priorities:
- Strengthen the quality of early learning programs.
- Improve math and science education and alignment.
- Increase production of bachelor’s degrees in high-demand fields.
- Enhance Washington State support for public university research and graduate education.
These core priorities comprise the College & Work Ready Agenda, which is supported through contributions provided to Partnership for Learning by businesses and foundations across the state and by the efforts of supporting organizations.
