The Economic Impact of Technology-Based Industries in Washington State
A primary task of the Technology Alliance is to benchmark Washington's technology economy and compare our progress with similar states. To this end, the TA commissioned studies analyzing the economic impact of technology in Washington State, defining technology-based industry, measuring the importance of research activity, tracking trends in Washington state technology employment, and comparing the technology economy of Washington state to that of other U.S. states.
