The Technology Alliance conducts research and publishes reports on key issues affecting the long-term health of Washington's technology economy.
The Technology Alliance brought together a group of leaders from the region’s research community and diverse business sectors to participate in an intimate conversation about corporate innovation and regional impact. The discussion focused on how companies use corporate venturing to drive their own strategic and financial objectives, and the related challenges and opportunities with the different approaches to venturing. The white paper released at the event posits that corporate venturing not only benefits the companies but also has a flywheel effect on the broader innovation ecosystem - growing the entrepreneurial base and building connections from research to start-ups to big business. The Tech Alliance will continue to work in this space, facilitating these connections and building a network of like-minded CVC efforts across sectors and across the state.
