January 6 : Dr. Len Peters, Director, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory: What is going on at PNNL? Dr. Peters will discuss a number of new innovations and collaborations going at the lab of particular interest to Spokane area leaders.
February 3 : Dr. Bassem A. Bejjani, Co-Founder and Medical Director, Signature Genomic Laboratories, LLC; Research Professor, Basic Medical Sciences (WWAMI), Washington State University; and, Health Research & Education Center, WSU Spokane: Genetics 101 - New technologies to unlock the secrets of genetic diseases. Dr. Bejjani will discuss the use of robotic tools to identify and diagnose diseases.
March 3 : Dr. Yogendra Gupta, Director, Institute for Shock Physics, Washington State University: Understanding materials at extreme conditions: Why would anybody smash rubies and diamonds?
