Policy Matters: Innovation Basics brings together more than 200 cross sector leaders and elected officials from all over the state to make connections, build bridges, and expand knowledge on key technologies. With this year's theme of Innovation Basics, we're breaking down the day into five sessions:

• Blockchain

• Fusion

• Immunotherapy

• Power Grid

• Quantum

You'll get a solid understanding of the topic and discuss how public policy can help (or hurt) these emerging technologies. Each session is 75 minutes long and will include a "101" level introduction and an "Ask Me Anything" section. Attend one, some, or every session! This is a hybrid event.

Who should attend? Legislators, policy advocates, academics, industry professionals, and anyone concerned with the future of Washington's status as a hub of the innovation economy.

Why attend? To gain foundational knowledge from experts about critical technologies that will drive future innovation.
