FEATURED SPEAKER, EWA DOMINOWSKA
Ewa Dominowska is a Director at Google Research, where she leads machine intelligence teams working on incorporating artificial intelligence into new products. In her former leadership positions at Facebook and Microsoft, she pioneered innovations in the field of online search and advertising as well as marketplace analytics and development. Ms. Dominowska led the patent strategy for Microsoft’s Online Services and has authored more than 35 patent applications in online advertising, search, and user interaction. As Chief Architect at Medio Systems, a startup later acquired by Nokia, she designed a large-scale predictive analytics platform for mobile devices. Ms. Dominowska is known for her deep expertise in analytics, data mining, large-scale data processing, system design, and integration of cutting-edge research into products. She holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and two Bachelor’s degrees--one in Mathematics and one in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science--all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
