This site is dedicated in loving memory to Greg Stark.
Greg was a great friend of the Technology Alliance. He was one of the original Smart Tools Academy staff members while a student at the University of Washington. He worked both years of the program in 1999 and 2000. He was a team leader, a brilliant technologist, a natural teacher, and resident humorist.
Greg continued to assist the Technology Alliance with our database and network infrastructure, and he always insisted on working for free. Truth be told, we wanted his help so we could be around him, to see his smile, to hear his laugh, to share in his life.
Greg died on Mt. Rainier on May 21, 2005. He and his uncle were killed by a sudden and severe storm on their way up to Camp Muir. He was 27 years old. We miss Greg.
